Non-Bilbographic Data Bases

A Sizeable amount of geological information is being stored in computer-readable form. Much of it is intended for in-house use by the group collecting the data. However , there is also a growing trend to make these data available to groups involved in regional planning and policy making.

The data bases listed below conyain actual (numerical or factual) data, such as stream flow records, oil drilling data, etc. Different type of information can be derived from these data. (e.g., statistical tables and carthographic displays), depending on the specific requirement s of the requestor.
