The thing about education these days is that it is built on traditional foundations, and ramped up significantly with modern components. These modernizations include technological infiltration, digitalization, and the introduction of online learning methods and models. Modern students are busier than ever before, and as such they expect that their education experience is going to be able to handle their commitments to other areas in their lives. Of course, this is not an unreasonable expectation. But it is one that, up until quite recently, was largely unanswered. The way of the world is changing, and modern students are driving the change forward and upward.

This does not mean that they only want tech in the classroom, but that having tech there in some form or another ignites their learning processes tenfold.
This is an exciting time to be in education, in any form. From the educators that teach students, to the students themselves and their loved ones, academics has never been this progressive, and it may very well never be again. This is a pivotal shift in the very foundations of the education industry, and it has come with much patience and several learning curves – some of which are still being carefully navigated by some today. One thing is for certain, however: in these changing times, introducing digitalization and technology into the learning process not only makes the industry stronger, but it makes it more capable to handle the increasingly digitally-inclined generations as they tackle education themselves.
